Opta Minerals Tampa has received the 2011 Best of Tampa Award in the Painting & Sandblasting Contractors category from the U.S. Commerce Association.
Opta Tampa is part of the Central Division of Ontario-based Opta Minerals Inc., a leading integrated processor, distributor and seller of industrial minerals. Opta, which dates to the 1880s, is an international group of companies in North America and Europe.
The Commerce Association "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes exceptional marketing success in a company’s local community and business category.
“These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community,” the group said in a press release. “The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity.”
Based in New York, the U.S. Commerce Association is an organization funded by local businesses nationwide. The group’s mission is to promote local business through public relations, marketing and advertising.
