Global access equipment provider Spider, a division of SafeWorks, has hired new district sales representatives for its operations centers in Charlotte, NC, and New Orleans.
Jason Buchanan will head the New Orleans operation, and Scott Quinters will helm the Charlotte office.
Jason Buchanan: LA & MS
Buchanan will be responsible for solving suspended access and safety challenges of contractors and facility owners throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
Buchanan joins Spider from Brand Energy Solutions, where he held sales and management roles over a 23-year career. As Sales & Account Manager, he focused on sales strategies for the power industry throughout the Gulf Coast.

In addition, Buchanan has logged more than 500 hours of coursework in scaffolding, safety and sales.

Scott Quinters: NC & SC
Quinters will be working on suspended access and safety solutions for contractors and facility owners in the Carolinas.
Quinters has more than 25 years of experience in the powered access equipment rental and labor service industry, having held sales and management positions at Safway Services, United Rentals Inc., Anderson Industrial Services, and Ahern Equipment Rental.

Most recently, he served as manager of Direct Scaffold Services’ Nashville branch.
Quinters has also completed the Scaffold & Access Industry Association’s Competent Person course and is an authorized Scaffold SAIA Course trainer.
