Stonhard, maker of polymer floor, wall and lining systems, has introduced a new product line formulated to address moisture issues in parking garages, pedestrian bridges, stadiums, mechanical equipment rooms and indoor spaces.
The new Stongard line of epoxy- and urethane-based waterproof decking and membrane floor protection includes two new products and two rebranded Stonhard products. Each is available in a dozen colors.
4 Applications
Stongard TM, a new product, is designed to preserve parking structures. The textured system is made to withstand heavy traffic, salts, corrosive fluids and other harsh elements and is easy to clean. Additionally, it brightens dimly lit parking garages and can provide a helpful marking system, the manufacturer says. Stongard TM can also be used on stadium concourses, helipads and pedestrian bridges.

Stongard MR (formerly Stonflex LTE) is designed to protect mechanical equipment rooms and other indoor spaces that cannot tolerate moisture. This is especially critical in hospitals, where areas beneath mechanical equipment rooms require protection from leaks and moisture, the manufacturer notes.
Stongard MD (formerly Stonshield MRT) provides the same waterproofing performance as Stongard MR, but puts an additional focus on style to meet specific design expectations.
Stongard MX includes a fiberglass reinforcement, where specified, to satisfy spaces requiring positive side moisture protection.
Features, Warranty
Each Stongard product is designed to be abrasion-, crack- and slip-resistant and is backed by Stonhard’s single-source warranty, which covers both product and installation.
