Garlock Safety Systems, of Plymouth, MN, has introduced Turbo-Rail fall protection railings, which can clamp directly onto parapet walls and slab floors.
With all-heavy-duty steel construction, the Turbo-Rail system can clamp onto walls or floors four inches to 24 inches thick, eliminating the need for labor-intensive stick-built wood railings that must be drilled into floors.

“Turbo-Rail simply impacts onto a slab, insert the vertical posts, cross rails and that's it,” says the manufacturer, a supplier of commercial roofing and safety equipment since 1959.
Adjustable, Portable
The railing kit includes 10-foot, three-foot and adjustable length railings that meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations for fall protection railings.
One rolling cart system can hold an entire 320-foot system for maximum portability.
Garlock calls the Turbo-Rail “the fastest way yet to guard leading-edge fall hazards on multi-level slab construction jobsites.”
