Quest Construction Products, a division of Quest Specialty Chemicals, has acquired the coatings business of Integrated Paving Concepts (IPC) of Vancouver, Canada—Quest’s eighth corporate acquisition since it was established in 2004.
Quest also owns United Coatings, which supplies protective coatings for a wide range of industrial, architectural and roofing applications; StreetBond asphalt coatings; and HydroStop roofing and waterproofing systems.

Founded in 1992, Integrated Paving Concepts specializes in decorative stamped asphalt and asphalt coating technology for streetscape and hardscape designs.
Market, Product Expansion
“The acquisition of IPC’s coatings technology adds to our product and market offerings in our objective to provide the building owner multiple solutions with his building envelope,” said Charlie Van Gelder, Vice President, Quest Construction Products.
“Our line includes solutions from waterproofing roofs to creating aesthetic surfaces for parking lots, walkways or residential driveways.”
The company’s national sales force will assist contractors in expanding their business across the country. The company also has international distribution and anticipates continued growth internationally with its existing product line.
