Chesapeake Bay Coatings, a wholesaler and distributor of industrial coatings for military and government applications, has added aerospace and chemical agent resistant coatings (CARC) to its product lineup.
The new offerings include Green 383 Moisture Cure CARC Camouflage, an aliphatic 1k HAPs-free chemical agent resistant coating designed for military clients who require visual and infrared camouflage for military vehicles and equipment used in combat and training operations.

The expansion allows the company “to offer a wide range of high-quality materials to its US customers for in-house applications,” the Baltimore-based company said in a release.
New Color Matching Capability
The company has also added a new computerized color-matching machine for small batches.
“While most organizations are only able to conduct these types of color matching processes for clients that purchase larger volumes of material, Chesapeake Bay Coatings’ new equipment will ensure that their customers can receive colors that are precisely matched to their source materials, no matter how much they order,” the company said.
Color matching is available for batches as small as one gallon, for any customer that requires colors within the Federal Standard 595 color ranges, says the company, which touts its “industry-leading turnaround times and immaculate color replication.”
The company supplies military spec paint and coatings, aerospace, industrial and commercial paint, latex and alkyd oil paint, and oil-based and water-based polyurethane.
