Florock’s industrial floor coating line continues to grow with the introduction of Floropoxy SL Conductive, designed to provide high-performance conductive epoxy flooring protection for solvent-restricted facilities with hazardous or explosive environments.
Solvent-free and 100% solids, this concrete coating meets the conductive standards in ESD Association guidelines and performs in accordance with EOS and ANSI/ESD STM 7.1, maintaining the ability to dissipate a 5000 volt charge to 0 volts in less than 0.01 seconds, the manufacturer says.

Available in a variety of designer colors, highly cross-linked Floropoxy SL Conductive is made to provide outstanding hardness and chemical resistance. Its glossy reflective finish is easy to clean and maintain while helping to reduce electric costs and brighten work areas, according to Florock.
The electrostatic dissipative properties of Floropoxy SL Conductive are an integral part of the epoxy coating itself -- no special waxes are required to maintain the ESD test results over time.
As part of an overall safety program, Floropoxy SL Conductive affords managers of sensitive air hangars, electronics and data processing environments, photographic/graphic arts facilities, as well as those working with hazardous dust and explosives, consistent conductive industrial flooring properties, the manufacturer says.
