Software developer Dynamic Systems Inc. has launched a bar-coded ID badge system for contractors, designed to improve job-site security by identifying temporary and permanent workers.
The Checkmate Construction ID System enables contractors to control job site access and reduce the loss of equipment and materials, the manufacturer says.

Each system includes a card printer, card stock, ribbons and, if needed, a camera. Badges can be single-sided or double-sided and can include photos. Printing a badge takes just a few minutes.
“Loss of equipment costs multimillions of dollars each year for the construction industry,” says Dynamic Systems president Alison Falco. “Our customers see a payback of 3-4 months.”
