International Paint LLC has made several significant changes in its global Protective Coatings leadership, naming a new senior market manager, distributor coordinator, and Latin America manager.
Chris McMillan: Senior Market Manager
Chris McMillan will fill the newly created role of Protective Coatings Senior Market Manager, overseeing all protective coatings market managers in the Power, Oil & Gas, High-Value Infrastructure, Commercial Infrastructure and Water & Waste Water market segments throughout North and Central America.
McMillan has more than 10 years of experience in the coatings industry. He began with International Paint as a formulator in the R&D department, then moved into marketing in the role of Product Manager, and later became Market Manager over Bridges and Mining, where he will continue to serve.
McMillan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Science from Texas A&M University. He is a certified NACE Level 3 Coatings Inspector and member of both NACE and SSPC.
Karl Nollsch: Dual Positions
Karl Nollsch will assume the positions of both Water and Wastewater Market Manager, Americas, and Protective Coatings Distributor Program Coordinator.
In these new roles, Nollsch will be responsible for providing leadership to all marketing and new business development efforts for the growing Water and Wastewater market throughout the Americas. In addition, he will spearhead the new Protective Coatings Distributor Program, serving as liaison between Protective Coatings and Specialty Business sales teams.
Nollsch has more than 32 years of experience in the coatings industry. He began his career in retail and dealer sales in 1989 with ICI Decorative Paints. He served as ICI’s Independent Dealer National Industrial Maintenance Manager from 2003 to 2007 and had served since 2008 as International Paint’s Business Development Manager and Integration Project Leader.
Nollsch holds an Associative Arts Degree from Sacramento City (CA) College. He is a certified NACE Coatings Inspector.
Martin Criado: Manager, Latin America
Martin Criado has been named to the new position of Marine & Protective Coatings Manager, Latin America, where he is responsible for managing all marketing, sales and business development efforts for the Marine and five key Protective Coatings market segments throughout Latin America.
For more than 25 years, Criado has held a variety of executive management positions in the chemical, petrochemical and protective coatings industries in Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela. Before joining International Paint, he was General Manager at Pinturas International, C.A., a Venezuelan licensee of International Paint, for five years.
Criado has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de la Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1986, he received the Dow Chemical President’s Award for the “best development in the coatings area.” He is a member of the Venezuelan Oil and Gas Association and Venezuelan Chemical Industry Association.
