Polyguard Products, manufacturer of waterproofing and corrosion protection products, has acquired Protective Coatings Technology Inc. (PCT), which manufactures Poly-Wall thermoplastic fluid-applied waterproofing and air barrier systems.
“With Ted DeZurik and his Poly-Wall sprayable systems joining our team, Polyguard completes its goal of an integrated set of innovative building envelope products,” Bryan Coulter, Vice President of Polyguard’s Architectural Products Division, said in making the announcement Oct. 1.
The companies “have worked together for over 15 years, so we have little doubt that this combination will be successful,” Coulter added.
‘Great Synergy’
Polyguard, based in Ennis, TX, manufactures non-shielding coating and corrosion coatings, vapor weather barrier and insulation jacket protection, pipe duct waterproofing, Alumaguard and coatings to protect against corrosion under insulation, as well as architectural products.
PCT president Ted DeZurik said the acquisition “makes for great synergy” between “two great companies.”
“Adding Poly-Wall Systems to Polyguard’s outstanding products makes available to the construction industry the very best barrier systems available today.”
Poly-Wall operations and manufacturing will continue to be based in Menomonie, WI. Sales will be handled out of Polyguard’s Architectural Division Headquarters in Murfreesboro, TN.
