3M has introduced VFlex Particulate Respirators 9105 and 9105S, N95, designed for comfort and flexibility and priced affordably, the company says.
V-shaped pleats expand to help provide a comfortable seal and flex with mouth movements for easier talking, according to 3M. The company says that the increased surface area of the pleats, combined with 3M’s patented filter media, results in lower breathing resistance and helps make breathing easier.
The respirators are suitable for many applications with exposures to certain airborne particles, including sweeping, sanding, grinding, sawing, bagging, dry chemical handling, laboratory, mineral processing and general maintenance. Two sizes are available, to fit a wide range of users.
The VFlex respirators feature embossed front panels, to help them retain their shape. The side tabs are designed to easily position the respirator on the face for a comfortable fit; the adjustable nose clip helps provide a custom fit and secure seal.
“Not only is this product one of the most economical filtering facepiece respirators from 3M; it has been designed to provide several comfort features not generally available at this price point,” said Yolla Levitt, 3M global maintenance-free respirator marketing manager.
