Alberdingk AC 2403 VP, new from Alberdingk Boley GmbH, is a two-phase emulsion designed for Direct-to-Metal applications.
Adhesion promoters added during the polymerization phase provide the emulsion with good adhesion to all metal substrates, including critical galvanized surfaces, the manufacturer says. It is also suitable for plastic and mineral surfaces.
The water-resistant product is designed for universal corrosion protection applications. Its anti-corrosion performance is made possible by a highly hydrophobic, steam-impervious film, the company says.
The coating is low MFFT and low VOC and has been formulated without the addition of fillers, thus qualifying it as EU Ecolabel compliant.
Features include UV resistance, fast drying, tack-free films, and a high-gloss appearance, according to the manufacturer.
