A Durability + Design webinar on lead paint removal, “Good Practice and Regulatory Compliance in Lead Paint Removal from Residential and Commercial Structures,” will be presented on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
The webinar program will begin at 11 a.m., and will be presented by Burt Olhiser, a well-known coatings consultant and EPA-certified trainer on lead-paint removal.
The webinar is being sponsored by Dustless Technologies and Dumond Chemicals.
Olhiser will explain how to comply with EPA’s new Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule on lead paint, and will discuss the possible extension of the rule by EPA into a broad class of commercial structures. He will also describe good technical practice in removing lead and compliance with OSHA regulations on worker safety.
Individuals wishing to register for the webinar can do so at www.durabilityanddesign.com/webinars.

Are there any webinars or information for lead removal and how it applies specifically to wallcovering removal. Many of our members want to be compliant but see the new law as an expensive over kill.
