LINE-X Protective Coatings has introduced ASPART-X U/V Protective Coatings for industrial commercial flooring, food processing facilities, and residential decks, patios, garage floors and swimming pools.
ASPART-X can also be used as a UV-stable topcoat for all LINE-X thick-build coatings, creating a durable composite coating that is available in a variety of stock and custom colors, the company says.
The zero-VOC, 100% solid, aliphatic, pure polyurea coating has been engineered as a topcoat for polyurea and polyurethane systems, but it can also be used as a stand-alone coating over properly prepared substrates, according to the company.

“This is a very exciting time for LINE-X as a company,” said CEO Kevin Heronimus. “ASPART-X Protective Coatings allow us to offer our customers a multitude of new protective coatings options backed by the LINE-X quality our customers have come to expect.”
ASPART-X is flame retardant; waterproof; fast curing, food safe; and designed to resist yellowing, fading, abrasion and chemicals, the manufacturer says. The clear topcoat provides a durable, easy-to-clean finish that can be configured in a variety of non-skid finishes.
Tan, gray, white, black and clear are available as stock colors. Embedded color chips, accent colors, and other custom color options are available.
LINE-X products are distributed through the company’s 400+ franchised centers. LINE-X high-performance coatings are used in automotive, commercial, light industrial, heavy industrial, agricultural, military, marine and custom applications.
