BlastPro Manufacturing has released two new products: the BPZ-20-360, with 20-inch blast pattern, and the BP-505 horizontal steel shot blaster.
BPZ-20-360
The unit’s 20-inch cleaning path offers 25% higher production rates than 16-inch machines, the company says.
The ride-on, self-contained shot blaster has a zero turn radius and is suitable for large jobs, including parking garages, highway and bridge work, warehouse and industrial plant floors, and airport runways, according to the company.
BP-505
The BP-505 horizontal steel shot blaster has independent electric drive motors for each rear wheel, designed to produce greater operator control. The unit is equipped with a 30 hp blast wheel motor and features modular construction that enables it to be dismantled to fit through a 24-inch manhole.
The BP-505 is suitable for cleaning floors and roofs of oil storage tanks and removing non-skid on ship decks.
Both products are made in the United States.
The company also says it will roll out these units in the near future:
- BP-2-30 Super, with 30-inch cleaning path;
- BP-10-27, a 10-inch, self-contained, ride-on blaster;
- BRB-2800, a 2,800-pound ride-on scraper similar to BlastPro’s Big Red Beast; and
- BMFG-2-44, a ride-on grinder developed with Niagara Machine Inc. and Substrate Technologies Inc.
