Moisture Control Services, a global division of Munters AB, has a new president for its North American operations, while a new GM will lead Arch Chemicals’ Biocides Preservation and Protection Business.
Elvir Kolak has been named president for United States and Canada operations for Moisture Control Services (MCS), which provides temporary climate control and water and fire damage remediation.
Kolak’s duties will include directing financial performance, operations, sales and marketing. He will be based at Munters’ office in Amesbury, MA. The division has more than 200 employees.
Kolak, 39, has 15 years of management experience with MCS, most recently as business unit manager – Australia. Prior posts included area president, Asia; area president, managing director, Germany; and area president, continental Europe.
Earlier this summer, Munters AB, a publicly owned company, based in Stockholm, Sweden, announced that it would divest division MCS to Triton, a leading private equity firm. The divestiture is scheduled to take place later this year.
Arch Chemicals has announced the promotion of Mark Kenline to General Manager for Arch Biocides Preservation and Protection Business. In this role, he will have lead management responsibilities for the Building Products, Marine Antifouling Paints, Metal Working Fluids, Plastics and Custom Chemicals business units.
