The International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) announced the move of its national offices from Des Plaines, Ill., to Rosemont, Ill., with the move taking place between July 13 and July 16. The institute said interruptions in phone, fax, and email access service are likely during the move.
The institute’s new office location is 10600 W. Higgins Road, Suite 607, Rosemont, IL 60018-3705. The phone and fax numbers will not change. The office’s phone is scheduled to be turned off at noon July 14, with phone service to resume by 8 a.m. July 16. Phone calls can be placed to the institute’s Caren Giles at 248-848-3809 during the move period.
Internet service also will be interrupted, but institute personnel will access email through home and mobile sources, with delayed responses possible, the institute said. The website (www.icri.org) will not be affected, and the internet connection will resume July 16.
ICRI’s mission is education and information aimed at improving the quality of repair, restoration, and protection of concrete and other structures in accordance with consensus criteria. The institute publishes technical guidelines for concrete repair, and is a co-sponsor of World of Concrete.

Okay, if I as an individual can start up my new internet service before cutting off the old one, why can't ICRI? Sure, I end up paying for a couple of days on both services - but a few bucks is well worth it to keep connected.
