Induction Innovations (Elgin, Ill.) expanded its product offerings with the introduction of the INDUCTOR® PRO MAX™ 4, a coating-removal tool described as capable of heating aluminum or steel, with operation on 120 volts/20 amps.
The device is reported to remove paint quickly, easily, and safely, with high-performance “U-Series” attachments molded in epoxy polymers that are resistant to high temperature, impact, and chemicals. The attachments feature ergonomic gripping and beveled edges to allow the magnetic fields to get closer to the work area.
The company says the tool can remove coatings, spray-on bedliners, decals, stripes, vinyl graphics, molding, caulking, thread-lock compounds, and seam sealers, and is capable of heating nuts, bolts, and all types of seized hardware.
