Dow Corning Corp. named Saulo Rozendo global green building marketer for Dow Corning Construction Industry, with responsibility for identifying and partnering with global building leaders and offering green-building solutions for innovative building designs and increased energy efficiencies.
Rozendo brings extensive green-building experience to Dow Corning, with leadership roles in more than 50 green-building projects in South America and Southeast Asia, including the first LEED Platinum project in Brazil, the company said. He also has worked in training building professionals to become LEED Accredited Professionals, and has ISO 14000 environmental management expertise.
Jean Paul Hautekeer, global marketing manager, Construction Industry, Dow Corning, said Rozendo’s expertise in green building “will be key in providing our customers with the expertise and insights about how Dow Corning’s customized solutions can best meet their challenges.”
Rozendo has a degree in civil engineering from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and an MBA from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
