RPM Building Solutions Group Inc. announced the appointment of Randall J. Korach as president. Korach succeeds his father, Jeffrey L. Korach, who retired June 1.
Prior to the appointment as president, Randall Korach had been chief operating officer of the company, and previously held various operational and management positions with Tremco Inc., the largest operating unit of the Building Solutions Group. His most recent position with Tremco was president of the Global Sealants Division.
RPM Building Solutions Group is the construction-industry platform of businesses for RPM International Inc. The group includes Tremco Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing, Tremco Roofing & Building Maintenance, Weatherproofing Technologies Inc., Tremco illbruck International, Tremco Barrier Solutions, Republic Powdered Metals, and The Euclid Chemical Company.
Randall Korach is an officer and member of the board of trustees of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland; a trustee for Menorah Park, Center for Senior Living; board member of the Mount Sinai Health Care Foundation; and a member of the leadership council of the Ahuja Medical Center of University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is a graduate of Colby College and the Harvard Business School’s general management program, and lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with his wife and two children.
During Jeffrey Korach’s 13-year tenure as head of the RPM Building Solutions Group and Tremco Inc., the company’s annual sales grew from approximately $400 million to more than $1 billion. Korach began his career in 1964 with The Euclid Chemical Company, and eventually rose to become president, a post he held for 13 years.
Over the years, Jeffrey Korach has served on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations, including the Montefiore Home for the Aged, Council Gardens, Suburban Temple, Shaker Heights Youth Center, Menorah Park, Center for Families and Children, LifeBanc, and Business Volunteers Unlimited. He and his wife, Sue Ellen, also live in Shaker Heights.
