Bayer MaterialScience LLC named Xiaobin Zhong sales director, regional key accounts, for the company’s Coatings, Adhesives, Specialties (CAS), North America business.
Zhong assumes responsibility for the management of regional accounts and technical specialists for the company’s U.S. CAS business.
Zhong has held several positions in the CAS organization in the Asia-Pacific region, most recently as marketing director for China. He has a polymer science degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
“We are a global organization serving global markets, and Xiaobin brings a wealth of experience to our customers in the North American market,” said Christine Bryant, vice president, regional key accounts, distribution sales and marketing, of the CAS business.
Bayer MaterialScience is a manufacturer of polymers and high-performance plastics, and is a supplier of materials used in paint, coatings, adhesives, and other products.
