A free webinar offered as part of the 2010 SSPC-JPCL Education Series, “Challenges of Coating Windtowers,” is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 26.
Education Series webinars provide continuing education for SSPC recertifications as well as technology updates on important topics.
This webinar will focus on various coatings used on exteriors of wind towers and how balancing environmental variables present challenges in the overall production and protection of these structures.
Participation in the webinar is free, but for those who wish to receive continuing education credits from SSPC, a test is available after the webinar; the cost of the test service is $25. All participants, however, will receive a free certificate of completion.
The webinar will be presented by Ed Brunins, PPG Protective and Marine Coatings market manager for the U.S. and Canada. He is responsible for branding, marketing, and communications programs for the region. Brunins has an MBA from the College of William and Mary and a BA degree from the University of Maryland.
