ITW Inc.’s Performance Polymers & Fluids Group announced the launch of a coordinated “Building Green” program that the company says streamlines the process of sourcing products that can be used to earn credits under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating system.
The program assists architects and construction specifiers in maximizing LEED points by providing a “one-stop” source for certified “green” coatings, sealants, and adhesives offered by ITW’s Performance Polymers & Fluids Group. The Performance Polymer & Fluids Group produces a range of construction materials that meet the LEED standards, including adhesives, waterproofing coatings, sealants, tapes, concrete repair products, and roofing materials.
ITW is initiating the program at the CONSTRUCT Show, May 12-14 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Additional information, including a line card of products organized by CSI Section, will be available at the Pacific Polymers booth at CONSTRUCT.
The ITW Construction Products companies that are members of the Building Green Program are Pacific Polymers (www.pacpoly.com), ITW TACC (www.itwtacc.com), ER Systems (www.ersystems.com), ITW Resin Technologies (www.resintech.com), ITW American Safety Technologies (www.astantislip.com), Schnee-Morehead (www.itwsm.com), PolySpec (www.polyspec.com), Futura Coatings (www.futuracoatings.com), and Densit (www.densit.com).
