California Paints (Andover, Mass.) introduced Trillion™-Super Strength Colorant, a zero-VOC colorant system reported to offer increased color saturation with less colorant.
Based on technology developed in Europe, the colorant also is reported to enhance scrub, water-spotting, burnish, and block resistance.
The company says the reduced usage demand of the colorant facilitates performance of the paint formula as intended, avoiding alteration of coating properties due to the addition of excessive ingredients. The colorants can be used in various coatings types, in exterior and interior grades.
