RCI Inc. issued a call for presentation abstracts for the organization's 26th International Convention and Trade Show, scheduled for April 7-12, 2011, in Reno, Nev. The deadline for abstracts is May 20.
The event is attended by professionals engaged in the roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall construction fields. Presentations are invited on the areas of materials performance, forensic investigation, research, business management, case studies, and environmental effects.
Individuals submitting abstracts that are selected for presentation will be asked to write a paper for the conference, which will be published in the program proceedings. The organization said program topics will be of interest to roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall consultants; architects; engineers; facility managers; developers; property owners; construction managers; code officials; policy makers and officials; and general contractors.
Abstracts are limited to 200 words; authors of accepted papers will be notified by July 5, with completed papers due by Aug. 27. Interested authors are advised to contact RCI Inc. for a copy of the abstract-submittal form and guidelines for presentations.
