Larson Expands Spray-Booth Light Offerings

Larson Electronics’ magnalight.com has expanded its line of explosion-proof lights with UL 844 Class 1 Division 1 paint spray-booth lights, offered in 4-foot and 2-foot lengths and reported to combine bright light output, color temperature control, and five-year bulb life. The lights can be configured with two or four LED tube lights for optimal area coverage.

The EPL-48-2L-LED and EPL-48-4L-LED are the 4-foot versions of the lights, and the EPL-24-2L-LED is the 2-foot configuration. These LED lights feature both surface and pendant mounting options. Wheeled-cart options offer operators the ability to move the paint spray booth lights in and around the hazardous location area to suit the particular coating application.

The LED lights are reported to reduce operating costs, and are UL certified for flammable vapors and dusts, making them suitable for all types of manufacturing and processing, the company says. Uses include applications where UV is not permissible.
