INVISTA (Wilmington, Del.) has expanded its FlexiSolv™ cleaning solvent product range with a line of water-dilutable microemulsions. Recommended applications include paint stripping, graffiti removal, floor cleaning, degreasing, flux cleaning, resin cleaning, and adhesive and ink removal.
The products can be used by the end user “as is” or by formulators as the basis of fully formulated products, the company says. The properties of the individual products in the line are “unique,” but all were screened through regulatory, environmental, health, and safety criteria, according to the company’s announcement on the expended product line. The products are reported to be biodegradable, non-VOCs, and nonflammable, with none of the known components listed as carcinogens.
