OMNOVA Re-launches Greener Brand

OMNOVA Solutions has re-launched its Tower wallcoverings brand with an enhanced eco-friendly perspective, from product sample to product disposal.

The line is “the first to be engineered and manufactured entirely utilizing OMNOVA's exclusive RECORE Recycled Wall Technology,” the company said in a statement.

RECORE features 30% recycled content and is certified by Scientific Certification Systems, a global leader in independent certification of environmental product claims, to contain a minimum of 20% post-consumer content. Additionally, these wallcoverings meet California 01350 specifications and are GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified for low VOC emissions.

The new sampling cases for Tower are made from 80% post-consumer recycled content. The brand's single-panel cards are made of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified paper.

OMNOVA calls Tower wallcoverings “durable, stain-resistant and long lasting.” They are also recyclable through OMNOVA's wallcovering reclamation program. The wallcoverings can be used for both new construction (LEED-NC) and commercial interior (LEED-CI) projects and can contribute to up to six LEED credits, OMNOVA says
