The SSPC-JPCL Education Series Webinar on “Performance of Marine Coatings Applied over Flash Rust,” one of 20 webinars in the series to be offered during 2010, will be presented April 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Education Series Webinars provide continuing education for SSPC recertifications as well as technology updates on important topics.
Participation in the webinar is free, but for those who wish to receive continuing education credits from SSPC, a test is available after the webinar. Cost of the test service is $25. All participants, however, will receive a free certificate of completion.
The webinar on performance of marine coatings over flash rust will be presented by Petr Ault of Elzly Technologies and will describe a study in which coatings were applied over varying degrees of flash rust and then inspected periodically for six years. The performance of coatings over light, moderate, and heavy flash rust will be presented and discussed.
