Little Giant Ladder Systems has announced that it will expand its international business in dozens of countries in Asia, Europe and South America.
“Asia and Europe are areas of high demand for Little Giant Ladders,” said company president H. Arthur Wing. “The current need and tremendous growth opportunity has steadily increased to a level such that it was strategically sound to establish a center of operations in China.
“Our Shanghai facility opens a whole new world of possibilities for Little Giant Ladder Systems, and we look forward to servicing our customers around the world who made this milestone possible.”
The Shanghai facility will serve the expanded distribution areas of Korea, Japan, all of Mainland China and parts of Europe, the company said. Grainger Industrial Supply will also continue to distribute Little Giant Ladders.
The company also said it planned to introduce four new product lines later this month at the International Hardware Fair in Germany. The new products will be the first to run through the expanded global distribution channels.
