Painting and wallcovering contractors from every sector are invited to submit their eco-friendly projects for PWC Magazine’s first annual Green Awards, honoring projects that reflect environmental sustainability.
“Many contractors and suppliers have made a significant commitment to sustainable products, techniques and environmentally conscious work practices,” said PWC editor Mary Chollet. “The PWC Green Awards will recognize that commitment.”
The contest is open to residential, commercial and light industrial contractors; paperhangers; and decorative artists. Suppliers are welcome to encourage entries by their contractor clients.
Contestants may enter in the Residential, Commercial or Historical/Renovation categories. Contractors may submit more than one project, but each project requires a separate entry.
The deadline for all entries, including photos, has been extended to March 15, 2010.
Winning projects will be featured in PWC’s May-June “Green Issue,” and other entries will be posted at www.pwc-magazine.com.
“Green projects raise additional considerations for contractors and may often require more time and investment,” Chollet said. “As North America’s leading contractor publication, we are delighted to showcase these projects and honor these contractors.”
