PWC: Painting & Wallcovering Contractor is seeking entries for its first annual PWC Green Awards, which will honor contractor projects that reflect environmental sustainability.
“Many contractors and suppliers have made a significant commitment to sustainable products, techniques and environmentally conscious work practices,” said PWC editor Mary Chollet. “The PWC Green Awards will recognize that commitment.”
The contest is open to residential and commercial painting contractors, paperhangers and decorative artists. Contestants may enter in the Residential, Commercial or Historical/Renovation categories. Contractors may submit more than one project, but each project requires a separate entry.
The deadline for all entries, including photos, is March 1, 2010.
Winning projects will be featured in PWC’s May-June “Green Issue.” Other entries will be posted at www.pwc-magazine.com, after the winners are announced.
“Working green can demand extra time and investment,” Chollet said. “As North America’s leading contractor publication, we are delighted to showcase these projects and honor these contractors.”
