Online registration has opened for CONSTRUCT 2010 and the Total Facility Management (TFM) Show, scheduled for May 11-14 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia, PA. The joint events include a comprehensive education agenda, a range of commercial, institutional, and industrial building industry-specific programs and special events, and the Construction Specification Institute’s (CSI) Annual Convention, said show producer Hanley Wood Exhibitions. The event is designed to meet the education, networking, and informational needs of architects, designers, specifiers, engineers, facilities managers, building owners, and professionals who design, build, operate, and renovate.
Online attendee registration is available at www.CONSTRUCTshow.com and www.TheTFMshow.com. For those registering before April 8, exhibit hall admission is free and discounted education packages are available. Those registering as CSI members receive the association discount. Discounted hotel and travel are available through the official travel provider, www.HanleyWoodHousing.com. The four-day education schedule, with more than 75 sessions, will offer instructive programs and “how-to” training sessions focusing on building and design, business, leadership, process, standards, stewardship, and facility management. Most courses provide continuing education credits. Show exhibits will feature products and problem-solving solutions, and the events lineup includes a general session focusing on innovation, with a keynote address by Bjarke Ingels, award-winning architect and author. Also planned are a welcome reception and a number of CSI programs including certification exams, the institute’s annual meeting, the honors and awards gala, and fellowship events. Technical tours and a spouse/guest program are also scheduled.
