Roos Partners with Saint-Gobain

Roos International has been named the exclusive North American distributor of Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics’ new line of Novelio paintable wallcovering, the companies announced.
 
Roos is a major North American supplier/distributor of paintable glass textile wallcoverings.
 
The mold-resistant, hygienic, fire-proof Novelio collection includes the new Novelio Clean Air and Novelio MoldX. Novelio is reported to carry the Class 1 Oeko-Tex Standard 100, which certifies the absence of environmentally harmful substances such as heavy metals and carcinogenic dyes. Novelio Clean Air absorbs formaldehydes from the air for up to 10 years, the companies say.
 
The Novelio wallcoverings serve the need for a commercial wallcovering with the durability of glass combined with sustainability attributes, said Dich Roos, co-owner of Roos International.
 
In additional to Novelio Clean Air and Novelio MoldX, the Novelio collections include the standard designs of woven glass textile in SGTF’s Authentique collection, and a new array of designs in their Florentine and Exclusive Decoration collections. The company also offers custom designs in low minimums. SGTF will also supply Texturglas, Roos’ private label brand of glass textile wallcovering. Roos will remain the exclusive distributor of Texturglas.
 
Roos International said Germany-based Vitrulan decided last year to discontinue its distribution arrangement with Roos.
