NLB Corp. (Wixom, MI) has extended the operating range of its convertible NLB 325 Series waterjet pump units to 40,000 psi. Those who currently own the equipment do not have to buy a new unit, but can add the ultra-high-pressure (UHP) capability with a kit, the company says.
According to the company, the units can be converted in 30 minutes to operate at 8,000, 10,000, 12,000, 15,000, 20,000, 24,000, or 40,000 psi. The series is available in 14 configurations, with flows from 12 gmp to 74 gmp and heavy-duty diesel engines of 365 hp or 400 hp. All of the units are trailer-mounted with 4-wheel electric brakes and DOT lighting package, the company says.
