SSPC and JPCL will offer 20 education and training webinars, each an hour long, on protective coatings during 2010. These webinars are intended to provide continuing education as well as technology updates on important topics for contractors and their employees, facility owners, third-party engineers, and suppliers to the industry. Participants can attend the webinars at no charge.
The Series is called The SSPC/JPCLWebinar Series: Education and Training in Protective Coatings.
The Series will feature 2-day training sessions in March and November, during which 5 different webinars will be given over the two days. It is presumed coating work will be slow during these 2 months, so that a greater number of persons may be able to attend.
The remaining 10 webinars will be given once a month from April through December, except in August, when 2 webinars will be given. The schedule and webinar titles are shown below.
A test will be available after each live webinar for persons who want to use the webinars to acquire continuing education credits from SSPC to apply to recertifications, such as Protective Coating Specialist. Additionally, the webinars will be archived and available for playback and testing after viewing on both SSPC.org and PaintSquare.com, JPCL’s website.
Supplier companies will sponsor the webinars.
