LINE-X Protective Coatings, a manufacturer of high-performance protective coatings, announced a merger of Advanced Protective Coatings and LINE-X Franchising LLC.
In addition, Kevin Heronimus, founder and owner of Advanced Protective Coatings, has been named CEO of LINE-X Protective Coatings, the company announced.
Advanced Protective Coatings, a Master Franchisee for LINE-X in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, has been an integral part of the LINE-X enterprise for more than 15 years, LINE-X said. Annual sales for the company have historically accounted for more than a third of LINE-X’s domestic distribution in the U.S.
In a statement on the merger, Heronimus said the “combined resources and depth of experience from both organizations promises unprecedented opportunity for the entire LINE-X community.
“By combining our resources and personnel, we have strengthened the overall organization,” Heronimus said. “We have forged a more streamlined, efficient business unit. Our objective is simple: build the LINE-X business from the ground up, and set the stage for growth.”
LINE-X Protective Coatings (www.LineX.com) manufactures products used in a variety of applications in the automotive, commercial, light industrial, heavy industrial, agricultural, military, marine and custom markets. The company is based in Santa Ana, CA.
