Dur-A-Flex Inc. announced the dates for the company’s 2010 Contractor Academy sessions, which focus on ways to strengthen business practices and tackle challenges faced in the current business environment.
The company is a manufacturer of resinous flooring systems and resurfacers, including systems based on epoxy, acrylic, urethane, and hybrid chemistries.
The Contractor Academy spring session dates are March 21-24, April 18-21, and May 16-19, 2010. Fall session dates are Sept. 19-22, October 17-20, and Nov. 14-17, 2010.
The company says the curriculum is designed to help owners build a well-rounded business by addressing areas that sometimes get overlooked, such as right-sizing your business for maximum effectiveness, job cost accounting, and presenting clear value to customers. The program also includes exercises in pre-planning and post-job analysis to help uncover hidden profits and problems.
