Paint and coating maker Tikkurila Oy (Vantaa, Finland) has announced several personnel changes, all of which will be effective by January 2010.
Kenneth Sundberg, doctor of technology, has been appointed Tikkurila’s Group vice president for research and development, effective January 1, 2010. He previously worked as head of Innovation Center Paper at Ciba Group.
Anna-Lena Högfeldt has been appointed Group vice president of Tikkurila marketing and brand management, as of October 15, 2009. She was the marketing manager in Alcro-Beckers AB, which is responsible for Tikkurila’s decorative paint business in Scandinavia.
Niklas Frisk, currently the managing director of Alcro-Beckers AB, will act as the marketing manager until a successor is found.
Sergey Massalitin became the managing director of TOO Tikkurila in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on October 1, 2009. He is responsible for developing operations in Central Asia. He was previously the deputy managing director of the company.
Arto Lehtinen, the vice president of marketing at Tikkurila Oy, has been appointed president of Tikkurila Deco Finland, starting on January 1, 2010. In his new position, he will be responsible for the decorative paint business in Finland.
