Seicoat, a California-based chemical manufacturing, applications, and service firm, is offering free graffiti removal for up to 3 years in exchange for the purchase of its patented Graffiti Proofer® non-stick anti-graffiti coating.
According to the company, its offer would allow any municipality, building owner, highway department or other entity plagued by “taggers” to immediately save hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in graffiti removal costs.
Once the company’s anti-graffiti coating is applied, graffiti—from paint, markers, or stickers, for example—can be wiped off with a dry cloth or removed with pressure washing, the company says.
According to Ross Sklar, President of Seicoat, speaking from his Los Angeles offices, “ Our ‘offer’ is free graffiti removal if, in turn, the customer agrees to hire Seicoat to apply our Graffiti Proofer to the surfaces in question. After the application, we guarantee that graffiti can be removed with a dry cloth or pressure washing and are willing to provide the graffiti removal service for free, up to 3 years depending on how much square footage is to be protected with the Graffiti Proofer,“ Sklar added.
Seicoat is a privately held corporation that offers products, services, and franchise opportunities for graffiti removal and prevention; microbiological removal and prevention; pressure washing, building restoration and cleaning technologies; concrete and wood sealing technologies; slip prevention and maintenance; and de-icing and ice prevention products and services.
Seicoat is part of a strategic alliance involving Betterbilt Chemical, Four Star Chemical, and SEI Chemical, all based in Los Angeles, California.
