After a two-year trial, a Toronto paintball “mega park” has given the nod to Winning Colours Stain Remover as an “official partner.”
The Barrie Paintball Adventure Park has endorsed Winning Colours, manufactured by Winning Brands Corp. (www.WinningBrands.ca), according to an announcement Sept. 2.
The endorsement followed a two-stage process: informal comparative use for one year, followed by a year of extensive reliance on Winning Colours by the 50-acre facility’s staff and clients on equipment and all surfaces exposed to paintballs and other stains. No compensation was provided for the endorsement, the company said.
“Winning Colours Stain Remover was tested in continuous use year-round in four distinct seasons, indoors and out, on skin, equipment, clothing and fixed infrastructure,” said Paintball Manager Rob Crosbie. “Winning Brands did not limit our trial to easy and predictable applications. It was the ultimate ‘real world’ test.”
Results of the trial were “unequivocal,” Crosbie said. “We are now prepared to recommend [Winning Colours] within the paintball industry “
Winning Brands said in a statement: “Although the composition of many modern paintballs consists of water soluble formulations, water by itself is not sufficient for cleaning. The industry is still challenged to maintain a high standard of facilities cleanliness because of the sheer volume and variety of material shot continuously, diversity of hard and soft surfaces impacted including clothing, indoors and out, drying and mixing of expellant types, other related non-paintball stains, presence of oil based formulations, etc.
“The skin friendliness, ease of use and versatility of Winning Colours to address issues without complication was the clear finding.”
Winning Colours is an eco-friendly formulation that can be used either as a full-strength stain remover or a diluted multi-cleaner.
