Dryvit Systems has earned the latest quality management standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the company has announced.
The ISO 9001:2008 certification is an update to the ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard the company had previously achieved. Dryvit operates all North American manufacturing facilities to this standard.
Dryvit completed the new requirements and received the updated certification during its annual audit in May 2009. This certification is valid through May 2012.
“This latest certification from ISO required companies to demonstrate management’s involvement with their ISO Programs and reflects Dryvit’s continued commitment to meeting the highest manufacturing and environmental stewardship standards for quality and consistency in all operations,” said Tony Stall, Vice President of Marketing and Sustainability at Dryvit.
“This was easy for us because since day one, Dryvit management has been completely invested and continuously involved in quality management principles. In addition, based on our industry-leading commitment to and activities in the areas of sustainability and environmental responsibility, we also received the ISO 14001:2004 certification.”
Dryvit Systems, Inc. (www.dryvitisgreen.com, www.dryvit.com) is a leading North American manufacturer of Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS), an energy-efficient cladding technology the company brought to the U.S. from Europe in 1969.
