GMD Shipyard of Brooklyn, NY, secured a contract of $1,329,968 from the United States Coast Guard Logistics and Maintenance Command, Atlantic, to perform drydocking and repairs on the USCGC Campbell, a 270-foot-long by 38-foot-beam medium-endurance cutter based at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. The project includes preserving (recoating) various vessel surfaces, including the underwater body, chain lockers, ballast tanks, the freeboard, potable water tanks, and bilges.
