Benjamin Moore is helping to connect painting professionals and practicing color consultants to consumers who need help with painting projects. The LINK Referral Program at benmoorelink.com will launch in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, with plans to expand to other markets later this year.
“Benjamin Moore has always prided itself on the rich pool of professional paint contractors and color consultants who revere and prefer the brand, and now we are able to help bring added support to these individuals and businesses who’ve been such loyal partners,” said John Lanzillotti, Benjamin Moore’s director of marketing.
In creating Benmoorelink.com, Benjamin Moore established a list of qualifications that all professionals referred from the site must meet. The vetting process is thorough, and those accepted must participate in Benjamin Moore-directed training sessions, carry both liability and vehicle insurance, be licensed, and have a minimum of two years of experience in their profession.
“This is an exclusive professional network which Benjamin Moore created – with each participant meeting rigorous standards of excellence and customer service,” said Lanzillotti. “Benjamin Moore is the conduit that links the consumer with the sought professional – there is no interaction with Benjamin Moore nor are there any fees charged for the LINK Referral Program.”
To publicize the new service, Benjamin Moore will be implementing an online campaign on ServiceMagic.com, Improvenet.com, Realestate.com, Citysearch.com, Ask.com, HGTV.com, HGTVPro.com, MyHomeIdeas.com, Yellowpages.com and Google search.
“Benjamin Moore is not endorsing or recommending the services of any particular LINK participant, nor is the company guaranteeing or warranting the performance or the job outcome or quality of the service provided,” Lanzillotti said. We’re offering the referrals of the LINK professionals as just that – individuals or companies that have the competency to provide the requested service.”
