The National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) plans to hold an all-panel meeting September 15–17, 2009 in Philadelphia, PA. The Ship Production Panels included for the meeting are Surface Preparation & Coatings, Shipyard Production Process Technologies, Systems Technology, Business Process Technologies, Crosscut Initiatives, Product Design & Materials Technologies, Environmental Technologies, Facilities Tooling & Risk Management, Welding Technology, and Electrical Technologies.
Topics will include design, automation, safety/environmental regulations, and training. The meeting is open to the public, but registration is strongly recommended. NSRP has rooms blocked off at the Sheraton Society Hill, but reservations must be made prior to August 24.
