Sherwin Renames Industrial Group

The Sherwin-Williams Company has renamed its Industrial & Marine Coatings group. The new Protective & Marine Coatings group markets will continue to include water and wastewater, petrochemical, food and beverage, power, marine and offshore, pharmaceuticals, health care, roads and bridges, steel fabrication, industrial flooring, rail, pulp and paper, and general industrial.

The Cleveland-based company says the new name reflects its commitment to protecting the assets of its customers through innovative coatings solutions and to protecting the environment through the continued introduction of coatings with the industry’s lowest levels of VOCs and hazardous air pollutants.

“We offer a complete line of coatings formulations—including acrylics, alkyds, epoxies, urethanes and zincs—that comply with the country’s most stringent environmental regulations, including those set by Southern California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District,” said Doni Riddle, Protective & Marine Vice President of Sales.

“Our customers and coatings specifiers can be confident that in working with Sherwin-Williams, they will have access to products that meet or exceed environmental emissions regulations throughout the Americas.”
