The U.K.-based Paint Research Association will hold a new conference, “Architectural Coatings for the Green Age,” on Oct. 27-28 in Nice, France. The deadline for submitting a paper title and abstract for the conference is April 10.
The conference will bring together the major players in the architectural coatings community to discuss the market’s future direction. The conference, sponsored by Rohm and Haas and Huntsman Pigments Division, will cover new developments in the DIY and professional paint markets in the next decade, with particular emphasis on environmental sustainability. Organizers say the conference will target all those involved in the architectural coatings supply chain: raw material suppliers, paint manufacturers, equipment suppliers, paint retailers, specifiers and architects.
Papers will focus on innovations in both technical and marketing topics in the DIY and Professional decorative paint markets. A call for papers has been issued. The deadline for submitting a title and abstract is the April 10.
PRA is seeking papers from a broad range of organizations drawn from the entire supply chain. Papers will be selected on the basis of novelty of the subject matter and relevance to the conference’s overall subject. Papers that are principally commercial in nature will not be accepted.
