The Reflective Roof Coatings Institute (RRCI) announced additional program details for the institute’s fourth annual meeting, scheduled for Feb. 2, 2009, at Harrah’s in Las Vegas, prior to the International Roofing Expo.
The RRCI said roofing consultants, coatings manufacturers, building owners, facilities managers, architects, building-code officials, roofing contractors, educators, and students are invited to attend the meeting program, which is geared to a theme of “Cool Roofing Standards and Regulation: Seeing Our Reflectivity.”
The program will include a “State of the Industry” presentation by current RRCI president Bob Brenk, Aldo Products, and a feature presentation by Liz Robinson, executive director of the Energy Coordinating Agency of Philadelphia, PA. Robinson has played a key role in pioneering cool-roof research in the Philadelphia area, and has been instrumental in working for changes in Philadelphia building codes to include cool-roof provisions.
