Free Webinar to Hone Specs Appeal

Industrial painting projects are only as good as the specifications that guide them. But how do you prepare an effective specification that will help the contractor succeed?

That is the focus of "Developing and Administering an Effective Coating Specification," a free upcoming JPCL/SSPC webinar to be held from 11 a.m. to noon ET (5 to 6 p.m. CET) Feb. 18.

The webinar will be presented by industry leader L. Skip Vernon, owner of Coating & Lining Technologies Inc. and president-elect of SSPC.

About the Presenter

Well known throughout the protective coatings industry, Skip Vernon has decades of experience in the field. Vernon specializes in failure investigation and coating claim-related services.


Presenter L. Skip Vernon is president-elect of SSPC and a well-known coatings consultant.

His numerous credentials include SSPC Master Coating Inspector, SSPC Certified Protective Coating Specialist, NACE Certified Coating Inspector and ASPE Certified Professional Estimator (Paint).

Earning CEU Credits

The JPCL/SSPC Webinar Education Series provides continuing education for SSPC recertifications and technology updates on important topics.

SSPC is an accredited training provider for the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE), and Professional Engineers in Florida may submit SSPC Webinar Continuing Education Units to the board. To do so, applicants must download the FBPE CEU form and pass the Webinar Exam, which costs $25.
