Waterjetting fills a wide variety of removal and cleaning roles in coatings work, but how does it affect the coatings applied later, and what standards guide the process?

These and other questions will be the focus of "Performance of Coatings over Waterjetted Surfaces," a free webinar to be held from 11 a.m. to noon ET (4 to 5 p.m. CET) Sept. 3.

Waterjetting - NLB Corp.
NLB Corp.

The webinar will include discussion of the latest SSPC waterjetting standards.

The webinar is part of the JPCL/SSPC Webinar Education Series.

What You'll Learn

This webinar will explore issues associated with waterjetting before application of protective coatings. The latest SSPC waterjetting standards (WJ-1, WJ-2, WJ-3 and WJ-4) will be described, along with information about their use in project specifications.

The presentation will conclude with a brief review of technical literature relating to the performance of coatings applied over waterjetted steel surfaces.

The session will be presented by J. Peter Ault, a principal of Elzly Technology Corp., and sponsored by NLB Corp.

Participants may register here free.

About the Presenter

J. Peter Ault has been actively involved in various aspects of corrosion control and protective coatings for more than 20 years. A registered Professional Engineer in New York and New Jersey, Ault has broad experience in protection of highway, military, industrial and commercial infrastructure.
